Public Health England (PHE)
Public Health England is an executive agency of the Dept. of Health, and a distinct delivery organization with operational autonomy to advise and support government, local authorities and the NHS in an independent manner. Their mission is to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities.
Key staff: Meaghan Kall, MSc: HIV epidemiologist and coordinator of the Positive Voices patient survey, with expertise in monitoring patient-reported health outcomes; Dr Valerie Delpech, MBBS MPH FPH: consultant epidemiologist and Head of National HIV Reporting, involved in implementing national projects on HIV monitoring. Dr Anthony Nardone, MSc PhD MPH: consultant epidemiologist and Head of HIV Prevention programme, with over 20 years’ expertise in the evaluation of sexual health interventions and promotion of HIV testing.
