Arcigay is a non-profit association of social promotion. One of their main activities is health promotion in the LGBTI community and especially HIV/STI prevention. Arcigay is represented in both section L (HIV) and M (NGOs fighting HIV) of the Technical Health Committee, of the Ministry of Health on HIV/AIDS and in the Scientific Program Committee of ICAAR (Italian Conference on AIDS and Antiviral Research).
