“Marius Nasta” Pneumophtisiology Institute (IPMN)
The overall goal of IPMN is to control and reduce the incidence of TB in Romania by managing the National TB Control Programme with effective interventions and data collection. They aim to increase access of vulnerable and poor populations to prevention, diagnosis and treatment services and to ensure the adequate combination of services and support for PLTB in Romania.
Key staff: Dr.Mihaela Stefan, MD: National Coordinator of TB project, supervised numerous international and national programmes in HIV and TB. Eugenia Ghita: Project Manager, Lead programme coordinator with 15 years of expertise in implementation and management of numerous international and national projects in HIV and tuberculosis research.
